Browsing and operator links.
You can browse public island, company and fleet pages without creating an account. Opening a company website takes you to that operator’s service, where its privacy and cookie policies apply. We do not collect rental payment or licence details on the public directory.
Your shortlist.
Saved vehicle identifiers are stored in your browser’s local storage under the directory’s shortlist key. The shortlist is not sent to operators and is not synced across devices. Remove a vehicle using its bookmark button, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove the shortlist.
Contact form.
The contact form sends the name, email address and message you enter to the directory through its existing Formspree form. Formspree’s privacy policy explains that provider’s processing. Avoid submitting sensitive documents or payment details.
Touristas car advisor.
Catalog matching uses the information you enter to filter the reviewed vehicle snapshot. If you request an AI explanation and the AI service is available, the trip brief and recent conversation are sent to the configured AI provider through our server. We do not ask for passport, licence, payment or booking reference details. Avoid entering sensitive information. AI guidance can contain mistakes and does not establish availability, licence eligibility or rental terms.
The server limits requests and may process a temporary network identifier for abuse prevention. Your conversation is kept in this page’s memory, not saved as an account history. Reloading the page clears it.
Advertising and your choices.
This directory uses the Google AdSense publisher account listed in our ads.txt. Configured display placements are labelled “Advertisements” and separated from directory links and controls. Advertising is not a company endorsement and does not influence car-advisor recommendations.
When advertising is configured, Google’s consent platform presents the applicable privacy choices. Ad requests wait for an accepted consent signal; if the platform is unavailable or the required choice is declined, the placement shows a Discover Cyclades planning message instead. You can revisit your choices using the privacy link in the footer. Google explains how it uses data for advertising and measurement.
Advertising is kept outside the car-advisor conversation, saved shortlist, forms and policy pages. The previous Analytics and activity-widget scripts are not included in this release. Hosting services and providers may process requests and operational logs according to their policies.
